Finally, we are on the last part of Squidaholic tutorial. I am going to show the last useful feature of squidaholic - Google Trends.

Google Trends graphs will show you the Google search traffic on your keywords has changed over the last 12 months. This will give you a better understand on how popular is your lens for the last one year.

With this information, you will able to determine what are the efforts to put in to enhance your lens or move forwards for other topics.

As the tutorial continue.. this post will show you how Squidaholic help you to understand your lens information in some popular social bookmarking site and Google.

SquidaHolic - Example Lens Google

From the screen shot above, you will be able to discover few things:-

My Goodness, My Google! - This will tell you is your Squidoo Lens being indexed by Google. If not, you will have to start using some tools like onlywire, digg and pingoat to help you to gain a space in Google.

It’s Delicious - This will tell you is your Squidoo Lens being submitted to Del.icio.us. If not, you can do a immediate submission to Del.icio.us.

Stumble Upon - This is the same as It’s Delicious , but for Stumble Upon site. If your lens is not found in Stumble Upon, you can do a immediate submission to this site.

Digg it - Lastly, this is for your Squidoo Lens information on Digg it. You can do the same to submit to Digg it if your lens is not found anywhere in Digg.com

The second section is on - Who’s got an eye on you?

On your Squidaholic Report, you will able to find out who is linking to your lens. At this point of time, this report is based on Yahoo Link information. That will give you a good overview on your Lens backlinks and how can you improve it.

I mentioned to my earlier post that Squidoo team has launch a new services tool called “Squidaholic”. I am going to show you how to use this tool to help you to understand your lens better. This tutorial will go over few days to let you have clear picture on how to enhance your Squidoo Lens.

1. Access to “Squidaholic” site, and enter your lens URL. Click on the “Go Go Go” button.

2. You will bring to the report page of your lens. I am going to go over the Lens Statstics and Lens Ranks. From the two screen shot below, you will have a quick overview of your traffic and lens ranks for the past 7 days.

This will help you to ensure you are watching over your lens traffic and if you see a sudden drop in the traffic and Lens Rank, you might need to figure out what is wrong from the rest of the report provided.

As you might aware, Squidoo pay Lensmaster SquidooCash monthly with 2 BIG things to look at.

1. How high is your Squidoo Lens Ranks?

The highest your Lens Rank, the more SquidooCash you will be paid. To maintain high Lens Rank, you can perform the simple tricks same as me. For me, I allocate 30 minutes per weeks for 5 Squidoo Lens (I have about 30+ Squidoo Lens at this moment).

For every Squidoo Lens, I will create a new text modules and put in some related information and post it. Something I will just post related affiliate products from Amazon, eBay, etc.

You will be get good Lens Rank if you do it on a weekly basic.

2. How popular is your Squidoo Lens?

In a simple term, how many people is visiting your lens, you can get the overview for the past 7 days traffic from the Squidoo->Dashboard, under the Visits column.

To promote your lens, you can do the following…

* RSS feed
* Email
* Lensroll
* del.icio.us
* digg this
* Stumble It!

and the actions I like the most is using Yahoo Answers.
