When you at your Squidoo Dashboard page, you will able to all your’s lens with some features, what is the “stats” really mean and how it can help you to understand your lens better? I am going to explain each individual function to you now.

Rank: Current Ranking in Squioo, the lower the number the better!

“Star” sign: Average Rating received from other Squidoo lensmaster.

Visits : Total numbers of visitors to your lens within 7 days.

“$$” : Earning through Squidoo “Money Making” modules.

“Edited” : The last edited date for your lens.

If you wish to know the details statistics of your lens, click on the “stats” link, and you will get to see the following screen appeared.

This page is divided into 3 sections -

• LensRanks and Surfer Stats - You can get to know the current Lens’s rank and the higher rank achieved information. At the same time, you will be able to find out how many clickout (hyperlink to another site, if any) and howmany time your lens being email to visitor’s friends.
• Visit to your lens - Graph statistics to show you how many visitors per day since the Lens being published. You can click on any points in the graph to get the exact numbers.
• LensRank - Graph Statistics to show you what is your lens rank at each day since the Lens being published. You can click on any points in the graph to get the exact numbers.

Click on the “Traffic” tab and you will get to see interesting information and this is what we need to understand!!

You will see 5 sections appears on this page :-

• Lens Traffic : This is where you can set to view your traffic page from Today to 30 days.
• Visits : Number of Visitors to your lens (figure will change depends on your selection on “Lens Traffic” section) and Visitors till date since your lens being published.
• Traffic Source : This is VERY IMPORTANT information, which it tell you where your “customer” come from and which keywords (Lens tags) is used!!
  • Referral traffic comes from blogs, websites, forums and other lenses.
  • Direct traffic comes from browser bookmarks or typing in your URL.
  • Search traffic comes from people searching for a specific topic in engines like Google, Yahoo, AOL, etc.
• Referrers : If you have Referral traffic (based on the “Traffic Source” section), Squidoo will break down the details under here!
• Click Out : If you have hyperlink setup on your lens to divert your visitor to other webpage, if you show you each individual clickout numbers.

Last on the Stat page is the “Royalties” page. you will be able to view your Squidoo income here if you have “Money Making” modules setup in your lens.
