When we talk about affiliate merchant systems among the Internet Marketer group, we will usually being diverted to Clickbank, CommissionJunction and ShareaSales. I am going to introduce you another place that is actually coming up to the top and they have lot of digital products which you can’t find in Clickbank, that is PayDotCom.

I will usually go to Clickbank and PayDotCom to search for Digital products once I selected the market to promote. The two advantages for you to select PayDotCom and ClickBank are:-

- PayDotCom will pay direct to your PayPal account, which you can see your affiliate commission faster! Clickbank will take 2 to 3 weeks to send you a bank cheq.

Few of the “Squidoo for Dummies” Club members asked me a question after they watch the 7 days video on “How to Make Passive Online Income with Squidoo” - Can we apply the same method for promoting the Squidoo Lens to our blog?

The Answers is :- YES!!

I am going to show you the live example on how I use the same method to optimize few of the keywords and stay at the top of Google Search results, no only on the first position, but occupy the TOP 6th positions?

Ton just drop me a mail that is Squidoo “MoneyMaker” module can really make profit? I decided to show you one of my Squidoo account (out of 6) which is able to generate income from Squidoo “MoneyMaker”.

Just happen that I am logging in into one of my Squidoo account, and the pop out message show that my past month income, so I decided to share my story to Ton and rest of you. I have about 20 lens created under this account “alanchansg” and I put up Squidoo “MoneyMaker” module, e.g. ebay, Amazon, Buy.com, CafePress.com to most of my lens and I didn’t pay much attention to these lens for about 3 weeks (last update).

As to reply to Ton’s email and I login to my account to take a look and I accumulate of $7.19! for this account. To most of you, this might not be a big amount!! But, what I am trying to proof here, we can make profits from Squidoo “MoneyMaker” module without investing a single cents!!

That is the power of Squidoo!!

I reviews some of the lens and some are making common mistakes which we should avoid!

1. “Bold” the unnecessary sentence! When you are editing your contents, you should only put those intended keywords in “Bold”. This will help your reader capture your messages easier and faster. On the other hand, it will capture the attention of Search Engine, i.e. Google, Yahoo to index your lens faster.

2. A long article with no picture! Just image that you are the reader of a lens, would you prefer to read something which is nicely structure into different sections (text modules) with 1 or 2 pictures in it? Spilt your contents into few sections will help your reader continue to the end of your lens and your messages will be able to deliver!!

3. Bio details is not related to your Lens! If you create 10 different lens topics and every lens with the same Bio details? how would your reader able to assiociate yourself with your lens topic?!? Take some efforts to update your Bio for individual lens with help you to build your relationship with your reader.

4. No comments modules! Putting a comments modules will provide a space for your reader to give you comments on your lens, and it will help you to boost your Squidoo Lens Rank and 3rd party positive comments will help you to promote your products!

One of the famous affiliate product site - Clickbank, this site contains all digital affiliate products for affiliate marketer to promote. You can visit Clickbank MarketPlace to choose product to promote.

The crucial point is how to select the quality product in Clickbank?

$/sale: $16.09 | Future $: - | Total $/sale: $16.09 | %/sale: 75.0% | %refd: 86.0% | grav: 45.56

Let do a simple calculation for a product charge at $24.95. Product price at $24.95 with a 75% commission (%/sale) is approx $18.70. Clickbank do charge a commissions at 7.5% for most products, selling at 24.95 clickbank takes approx $1.87 which means affiliates get paid about $16.83($18.70-1.87) every sale.

Here’s where you can find out a lot about a product and how good it actually is!

Look at the $/sale figure: $16.09 which means that on average, affiliate are only earning this amount per sale. The reason the $/sale is lower that the actual payout ($16.83) is because this product is having 5% Refund Rate (($16.83-$16.09)/16.83). Clickbank suggests that if a product has a refund rate lower than 15% you can draw the conclusion that it is a decent product to sell.

This is one way that you can tell if a product is Quality.

“A ‘Ping’ is a basic Internet program that lets you verify that a particular Internet address exists and can accept requests. The verb ping means the act of using the ping utility or command. So once you’ve updated your blog, you should let such a service know that you have your blog has peen updated. for this, you send a PING to the service. Most of the blog software have the ability to ping on their own. But pinging a dozen such services could be time consuming.”

Pingoat notifies a number of sites that keep track of blog updates that you’ve made an update - this in turn gets these sites to crawl and index your blog.

You have create a Lens and the next things you need to do is to “ping” you Squidoo Lens - send you Lens to all the Top Social Bookmarking site. This can be easy work out with the step below!

1. Go to Pingoat website. Scroll down the page till you see the similar screen.

2. Give a name to you Squidoo Lens in the “Blog name”, and enter your Squidoo Lens URL in the “Blog URL”.

3. Scroll down and select a list of Social Bookmarking sites you wish to display your Squidoo Lens. The easy and faster way is to click on the “General“, “No English Services“ and “Special Services“, all Social Bookmarking sites will be selected automatically.

Once you are done, click on the “Pingoat” button to PING your Squidoo Lens to top Social Bookmarking sites.

IMPORTANT notes here

- Don’t do it unnecessary, do it only one a week provides you have updated your Squidoo Lens with new contents!! Or else, they will treat you like SPAMMER!
- If you have multiple Lens, don’t do it at one go, spilt it to 3 or 4 rounds!
