Well well well…. it is a start of 2008. It is the usual time for us to look back for our achievement/failure and set a new target to move on.

I start off the affiliate marketing in Jun 2007 and it just past 6 month and it is time to do a stock count of what I have achieve.

Affiliate Sales : Approx $5,300 from Clickbank, CJ, Squidoo and PaydotCom and my latest toy - MoreNiche.

Affiliate Expenses : Approx $500 from Getresponse, Anhosting, NicheBot.

Non-Monetary : PageRank 2 for this site.

In total, I have earned about $4,700 from the affiliate marketing, it might not look good to those “Super” affiliate Marketer, but I have hit my personal target of earning $5,000 within the 6 months. A big step for building my passive income online.

So, what next????

I won’t want to make a unrealistic target for myself when I am still working this affiliate marketing out of my 9 to 6 job. So I am going to set a target for 2008.

Target for 2008

Affiliate Sales : $24,000 in 12 months times (Average of $2,000 per month).

Affiliate Expense : Keep in within $2,000 in Year 2008.

Non-Monetary : To get a PageRank 6 for this site. Setup 6 new affiliate product sites and get a Page Rank 3 for all.

Ultimate Goal for 2008 - To have my first product launch in mid 2008!!

This morning, I receive a comments from Suresh for one of my post earlier on How to get FREE traffic from Yahoo!. He has some doubt on is Yahoo Answers can really bring in affiliate sales with the efforts spend on it.

I wish to clarify that this is able to come true if you have persistent to do it on a regular basic. I will explain how this is going to work out, For example, you have 20 to 30 Good Answers voted by people for the same area.

1. Immediately, Google and Yahoo like put Yahoo Answers entries in their top 10 Search Results, because the contents will change after a new answer post by others. All Yahoo Answers have a quite high PR rank, at least PR4. Just like Backlink to your lens and Blog.

2. About a month or two, once you get enough hit (traffic) to your Squidoo Lens or Blog, your lens or blog will get a good presence in Google and Yahoo Search Engine.

3. At the same time, Yahoo will eventually put your lens or blog in a top positions of the search result (not the Yahoo Answers).

When we promote affiliate products online, we are trying hard to put our presence when buyer find it online. To have immediate traffic, we used PPC, SEO, etc. and all the method are causing you $, and no guarantee of success sales if you are new to it. Yahoo Answers is one of the way which anyone can do it and it is FREE and use it for your market research!

To achieve that, you will need to have faith on what you are doing and giving good and relevant answers in Yahoo, as only the “Best Answer” will get notice by the visitor!!

After the post 3 weeks ago about the Yahoo Answers, I got a few emails that question is Yahoo Answer is really the FREE Affiliate Tools for affiliate sales…

The Answer is YES!!

I manage to get a screen shot from the Sales Report from More Niche - A site selling all the Niche Products for hot market.

As you can see from the statistics, I have a sales = ‘Signups’ after 16 clicks, and all sources are from Yahoo Answers. If you are using PPC Campaign from Google, you might only get a sales after 20 to 30 clicks (every clicks cost you $$). The different is we are having a targeted traffics as compare with PPC campaign.

So I hope you have a clear ideas that FREE method do work out, if you are persistent on what you are doing!!

The cpc is used in the websites for different purposes. The internet connection provided by the wireless internet providers is better than different dial up connections. The web hosting of websites do need a good connection. And if it is an ecommerce web hosting then the developers should be careful about everything, especially the web hosting. The developers usually like to go for the cheap web hosting. Because after the first step, developing web site, the other one is webhosting. There are different shared hosting services in the world.

Did not realise that have not posted anything on this blog from more than a month!! I was away due to preparing my exam for my part time Degree course… and finally it is over.. It is hard when you have a full-time day job and still need to keep the eyes open for the study material!!

Just have a quick check on the Clickbank account, and you guess what?!?! I did not do anything for almost a month, but I am still getting sales through all the Squidoo lens and I finally break my first $3,000 since I start working on Squidoo Lens for Jun 2007!!

I am really believe that Internet Marketing is the only way to make passive income once you have set your foundation right!! I am back full force and watch out this space as I am going to share my experience with you in next few weeks… I promise that I won’t be able from this blog or my passive income for so long again……

Been away from this blog for the past 2 weeks.. It is a very exciting 2 weeks for me!

For this 2 weeks, I been busy applying passive income strategy to my Squidoo lens and make a remarkable progress to increase my passive income online! My sales in Clickbank for affiliate product have increase from average $150 (within the Clickbank 15 days periods) to $1,286! An increase of approximate 850%!!

You might be wondering what Passive Income Strategy I had applied to my affiliate product? In fact, that is very simple, I just joined the Wealthy Affiliate, and finish their 8 weeks course on Internet Marketing, and I have applied their strategy to my affiliate products in my Squidoo Lens.

I will be back to update you with more info on my Income! Watch out this area!

When we talk about affiliate merchant systems among the Internet Marketer group, we will usually being diverted to Clickbank, CommissionJunction and ShareaSales. I am going to introduce you another place that is actually coming up to the top and they have lot of digital products which you can’t find in Clickbank, that is PayDotCom.

I will usually go to Clickbank and PayDotCom to search for Digital products once I selected the market to promote. The two advantages for you to select PayDotCom and ClickBank are:-

The crucial point is how to select the quality product in Clickbank?

$/sale: $16.09 | Future $: - | Total $/sale: $16.09 | %/sale: 75.0% | %refd: 86.0% | grav: 45.56

Let do a simple calculation for a product charge at $24.95. Product price at $24.95 with a 75% commission (%/sale) is approx $18.70. Clickbank do charge a commissions at 7.5% for most products, selling at 24.95 clickbank takes approx $1.87 which means affiliates get paid about $16.83($18.70-1.87) every sale.

Here’s where you can find out a lot about a product and how good it actually is!

Look at the $/sale figure: $16.09 which means that on average, affiliate are only earning this amount per sale. The reason the $/sale is lower that the actual payout ($16.83) is because this product is having 5% Refund Rate (($16.83-$16.09)/16.83). Clickbank suggests that if a product has a refund rate lower than 15% you can draw the conclusion that it is a decent product to sell.

This is one way that you can tell if a product is Quality.

I start my affiliate marketing income via Squidoo, and I earn my affiliate income with no money investment (other than time). You must be thinking that I am joking or some kind of SCAM!

When I first introduced to this, I also have the same impression as you that how to create FREE Squidoo lens will be able to make passive online income! But, I still go ahead to find a product from clickbankI create 2 lens and go ahead to create Squidoo lens for it. Surprise me that, I got my first sale via Squidoo just a week after!! It might sound easy money, but that is not true!! I struggle a lot during setup of first lens and things get easy when doing more lens and do research on the website and forums.

This site is for those guys wish to know how to use Squidoo to promote your product with no getting money from your pocket! But remember one investment is needed from you!!

That is TIME!!

My 2 months efforts by using Squidoo Lens (US$548.99)!!!
