We been advised to pay for extra for SEO services in order to rank you site at the top result in Search Engine like Google. I am going to show you an example on how you can get your Squidoo Lens to the Position 1 in the Google Search Results.

This Squidoo lens is built on behalf of Loeki that I met at Wealthy Affiliate.

When we research the keywords to use, I used the NicheBOT. We try to search the 1st keywords - How to Detox my Body; and the result show that 2nd keywords -How to Detox my Entire body will have better returns.

1. The 2nd keywords has better daily count as compare with 1st keywords.
2. The 2nd keywords has less competition as compare with 1st keywords.
3. The 2nd keywords has more Google Adwords ads as compare with 1st keywords. That mean, this is a “profitable” keywords!

So, we decided to go ahead with the 2nd keywords - -How to Detox my Entire body and go ahead to work on the link. After we completed the lens and we go ahead to send it to Digg, Pingoat, Onlywire, etc…. and you guess what is happening?

The Squidoo Lens go up to NO. 1 position IN Google search results for keywords - -How to Detox my Entire body!

Well, it is the payout date for Squidcash, I just received by biggest single payment month - $72.85 from total of 28 lens!

Based on the traffics I am getting for my Squidoo Lens, I am expecting my March payout will be more than $100. Will keep everyone posted for the next payout. Watch this area in 8 May 2008.

As you might aware, Squidoo pay Lensmaster SquidooCash monthly with 2 BIG things to look at.

1. How high is your Squidoo Lens Ranks?

The highest your Lens Rank, the more SquidooCash you will be paid. To maintain high Lens Rank, you can perform the simple tricks same as me. For me, I allocate 30 minutes per weeks for 5 Squidoo Lens (I have about 30+ Squidoo Lens at this moment).

For every Squidoo Lens, I will create a new text modules and put in some related information and post it. Something I will just post related affiliate products from Amazon, eBay, etc.

You will be get good Lens Rank if you do it on a weekly basic.

2. How popular is your Squidoo Lens?

In a simple term, how many people is visiting your lens, you can get the overview for the past 7 days traffic from the Squidoo->Dashboard, under the Visits column.

Well well well…. it is a start of 2008. It is the usual time for us to look back for our achievement/failure and set a new target to move on.

I start off the affiliate marketing in Jun 2007 and it just past 6 month and it is time to do a stock count of what I have achieve.

Affiliate Sales : Approx $5,300 from Clickbank, CJ, Squidoo and PaydotCom and my latest toy - MoreNiche.

Affiliate Expenses : Approx $500 from Getresponse, Anhosting, NicheBot.

Non-Monetary : PageRank 2 for this site.

In total, I have earned about $4,700 from the affiliate marketing, it might not look good to those “Super” affiliate Marketer, but I have hit my personal target of earning $5,000 within the 6 months. A big step for building my passive income online.

So, what next????

I won’t want to make a unrealistic target for myself when I am still working this affiliate marketing out of my 9 to 6 job. So I am going to set a target for 2008.

Target for 2008

Affiliate Sales : $24,000 in 12 months times (Average of $2,000 per month).

Affiliate Expense : Keep in within $2,000 in Year 2008.

Non-Monetary : To get a PageRank 6 for this site. Setup 6 new affiliate product sites and get a Page Rank 3 for all.

Ultimate Goal for 2008 - To have my first product launch in mid 2008!!

This morning, I receive a comments from Suresh for one of my post earlier on How to get FREE traffic from Yahoo!. He has some doubt on is Yahoo Answers can really bring in affiliate sales with the efforts spend on it.

I wish to clarify that this is able to come true if you have persistent to do it on a regular basic. I will explain how this is going to work out, For example, you have 20 to 30 Good Answers voted by people for the same area.

1. Immediately, Google and Yahoo like put Yahoo Answers entries in their top 10 Search Results, because the contents will change after a new answer post by others. All Yahoo Answers have a quite high PR rank, at least PR4. Just like Backlink to your lens and Blog.

2. About a month or two, once you get enough hit (traffic) to your Squidoo Lens or Blog, your lens or blog will get a good presence in Google and Yahoo Search Engine.

3. At the same time, Yahoo will eventually put your lens or blog in a top positions of the search result (not the Yahoo Answers).

When we promote affiliate products online, we are trying hard to put our presence when buyer find it online. To have immediate traffic, we used PPC, SEO, etc. and all the method are causing you $, and no guarantee of success sales if you are new to it. Yahoo Answers is one of the way which anyone can do it and it is FREE and use it for your market research!

To achieve that, you will need to have faith on what you are doing and giving good and relevant answers in Yahoo, as only the “Best Answer” will get notice by the visitor!!

After the post 3 weeks ago about the Yahoo Answers, I got a few emails that question is Yahoo Answer is really the FREE Affiliate Tools for affiliate sales…

The Answer is YES!!

I manage to get a screen shot from the Sales Report from More Niche - A site selling all the Niche Products for hot market.

As you can see from the statistics, I have a sales = ‘Signups’ after 16 clicks, and all sources are from Yahoo Answers. If you are using PPC Campaign from Google, you might only get a sales after 20 to 30 clicks (every clicks cost you $$). The different is we are having a targeted traffics as compare with PPC campaign.

So I hope you have a clear ideas that FREE method do work out, if you are persistent on what you are doing!!

As everyone know that Yahoo is the 2nd popular Search Engine after Google. But everyone seem to focus on getting traffic to your blog or Squidoo lens from Google. How about Yahoo? This is one of the Search Engine every blogger should target on!!

I am going to show you the method that I been using for the past 4 months on my works with a particular lens from Squidoo. As you can see from the screen shot below, I am getting about 1010 hits from Yahoo for the past 30 days!

How to make that happen? It is very simple and absolute FREE - “Yahoo Answers”. That is the way to bring traffic to you blog and Squidoo Lens. When you do a search in Yahoo, you can see lot of “Yahoo Answers” post in the top 20 search results. That because, “Yahoo Answers” is a product of Yahoo, they have to “promote” their product!! So, if you participate in the “Yahoo Answers”, you will get your blog or Squidoo Lens expose to the rest of world without paying a single cents.

Just follow the steps below.

1. Create few Yahoo accounts just for Yahoo Answers.
2. Search for Questions that related to your products/services or topics that related to you blog and Squidoo Lens.
3. Answer the question by provide decent Answer. NOT SPAMMING.
4. Leave your blog or Squidoo Lens URL in your answer.

Is this difficult, NO!! BUT a lot of people can’t make anything out of it for two reasons.

1. They are not persistent on doing it regularly. Remember that there is no overnight success, you have to put in the effort to see the return. If you can spend 3 hours per weeks, you can see the results in one months time.

2. They spam the Yahoo Answers. Yahoo is very particular on SPAMMING, they will stop your account in participating of “Yahoo Answers” if you have violate their rules!! no negotiation!!! I was being classified as SPAMMER once, but I am getting obligated to the rules, and I have an accounts at Level 3 (The higher the level you are, the better for people believe to your answer, OF COURSE IT HAVE TO MAKE SENSE).

p/s : Making passive online income is your 2nd job, and you just have to put in your efforts as the same as your full-time day job.

Did not realise that have not posted anything on this blog from more than a month!! I was away due to preparing my exam for my part time Degree course… and finally it is over.. It is hard when you have a full-time day job and still need to keep the eyes open for the study material!!

Just have a quick check on the Clickbank account, and you guess what?!?! I did not do anything for almost a month, but I am still getting sales through all the Squidoo lens and I finally break my first $3,000 since I start working on Squidoo Lens for Jun 2007!!

I am really believe that Internet Marketing is the only way to make passive income once you have set your foundation right!! I am back full force and watch out this space as I am going to share my experience with you in next few weeks… I promise that I won’t be able from this blog or my passive income for so long again……

Been away from this blog for the past 2 weeks.. It is a very exciting 2 weeks for me!

For this 2 weeks, I been busy applying passive income strategy to my Squidoo lens and make a remarkable progress to increase my passive income online! My sales in Clickbank for affiliate product have increase from average $150 (within the Clickbank 15 days periods) to $1,286! An increase of approximate 850%!!

You might be wondering what Passive Income Strategy I had applied to my affiliate product? In fact, that is very simple, I just joined the Wealthy Affiliate, and finish their 8 weeks course on Internet Marketing, and I have applied their strategy to my affiliate products in my Squidoo Lens.
