As you might aware, Squidoo pay Lensmaster SquidooCash monthly with 2 BIG things to look at.

1. How high is your Squidoo Lens Ranks?

The highest your Lens Rank, the more SquidooCash you will be paid. To maintain high Lens Rank, you can perform the simple tricks same as me. For me, I allocate 30 minutes per weeks for 5 Squidoo Lens (I have about 30+ Squidoo Lens at this moment).

For every Squidoo Lens, I will create a new text modules and put in some related information and post it. Something I will just post related affiliate products from Amazon, eBay, etc.

You will be get good Lens Rank if you do it on a weekly basic.

2. How popular is your Squidoo Lens?

In a simple term, how many people is visiting your lens, you can get the overview for the past 7 days traffic from the Squidoo->Dashboard, under the Visits column.

To promote your lens, you can do the following…

* Email
* Lensroll
* del.icio.us
* digg this
* Stumble It!

and the actions I like the most is using Yahoo Answers.

Well well well…. it is a start of 2008. It is the usual time for us to look back for our achievement/failure and set a new target to move on.

I start off the affiliate marketing in Jun 2007 and it just past 6 month and it is time to do a stock count of what I have achieve.

Affiliate Sales : Approx $5,300 from Clickbank, CJ, Squidoo and PaydotCom and my latest toy - MoreNiche.

Affiliate Expenses : Approx $500 from Getresponse, Anhosting, NicheBot.

Non-Monetary : PageRank 2 for this site.

In total, I have earned about $4,700 from the affiliate marketing, it might not look good to those “Super” affiliate Marketer, but I have hit my personal target of earning $5,000 within the 6 months. A big step for building my passive income online.

So, what next????

I won’t want to make a unrealistic target for myself when I am still working this affiliate marketing out of my 9 to 6 job. So I am going to set a target for 2008.

Target for 2008

Affiliate Sales : $24,000 in 12 months times (Average of $2,000 per month).

Affiliate Expense : Keep in within $2,000 in Year 2008.

Non-Monetary : To get a PageRank 6 for this site. Setup 6 new affiliate product sites and get a Page Rank 3 for all.

Ultimate Goal for 2008 - To have my first product launch in mid 2008!!

Did not realise that have not posted anything on this blog from more than a month!! I was away due to preparing my exam for my part time Degree course… and finally it is over.. It is hard when you have a full-time day job and still need to keep the eyes open for the study material!!

Just have a quick check on the Clickbank account, and you guess what?!?! I did not do anything for almost a month, but I am still getting sales through all the Squidoo lens and I finally break my first $3,000 since I start working on Squidoo Lens for Jun 2007!!

I am really believe that Internet Marketing is the only way to make passive income once you have set your foundation right!! I am back full force and watch out this space as I am going to share my experience with you in next few weeks… I promise that I won’t be able from this blog or my passive income for so long again……

Been away from this blog for the past 2 weeks.. It is a very exciting 2 weeks for me!

For this 2 weeks, I been busy applying passive income strategy to my Squidoo lens and make a remarkable progress to increase my passive income online! My sales in Clickbank for affiliate product have increase from average $150 (within the Clickbank 15 days periods) to $1,286! An increase of approximate 850%!!

You might be wondering what Passive Income Strategy I had applied to my affiliate product? In fact, that is very simple, I just joined the Wealthy Affiliate, and finish their 8 weeks course on Internet Marketing, and I have applied their strategy to my affiliate products in my Squidoo Lens.

Ton just drop me a mail that is Squidoo “MoneyMaker” module can really make profit? I decided to show you one of my Squidoo account (out of 6) which is able to generate income from Squidoo “MoneyMaker”.

Just happen that I am logging in into one of my Squidoo account, and the pop out message show that my past month income, so I decided to share my story to Ton and rest of you. I have about 20 lens created under this account “alanchansg” and I put up Squidoo “MoneyMaker” module, e.g. ebay, Amazon, Buy.com, CafePress.com to most of my lens and I didn’t pay much attention to these lens for about 3 weeks (last update).

As to reply to Ton’s email and I login to my account to take a look and I accumulate of $7.19! for this account. To most of you, this might not be a big amount!! But, what I am trying to proof here, we can make profits from Squidoo “MoneyMaker” module without investing a single cents!!

That is the power of Squidoo!!

Pingoat notifies a number of sites that keep track of blog updates that you’ve made an update - this in turn gets these sites to crawl and index your blog.

You have create a Lens and the next things you need to do is to “ping” you Squidoo Lens - send you Lens to all the Top Social Bookmarking site. This can be easy work out with the step below!

1. Go to Pingoat website. Scroll down the page till you see the similar screen.

2. Give a name to you Squidoo Lens in the “Blog name”, and enter your Squidoo Lens URL in the “Blog URL”.

3. Scroll down and select a list of Social Bookmarking sites you wish to display your Squidoo Lens. The easy and faster way is to click on the “General“, “No English Services“ and “Special Services“, all Social Bookmarking sites will be selected automatically.

Once you are done, click on the “Pingoat” button to PING your Squidoo Lens to top Social Bookmarking sites.

IMPORTANT notes here

- Don’t do it unnecessary, do it only one a week provides you have updated your Squidoo Lens with new contents!! Or else, they will treat you like SPAMMER!
- If you have multiple Lens, don’t do it at one go, spilt it to 3 or 4 rounds!

When you at your Squidoo Dashboard page, you will able to all your’s lens with some features, what is the “stats” really mean and how it can help you to understand your lens better? I am going to explain each individual function to you now.

Rank: Current Ranking in Squioo, the lower the number the better!

“Star” sign: Average Rating received from other Squidoo lensmaster.

Visits : Total numbers of visitors to your lens within 7 days.

“$$” : Earning through Squidoo “Money Making” modules.

“Edited” : The last edited date for your lens.

If you wish to know the details statistics of your lens, click on the “stats” link, and you will get to see the following screen appeared.

This page is divided into 3 sections -

• LensRanks and Surfer Stats - You can get to know the current Lens’s rank and the higher rank achieved information. At the same time, you will be able to find out how many clickout (hyperlink to another site, if any) and howmany time your lens being email to visitor’s friends.
• Visit to your lens - Graph statistics to show you how many visitors per day since the Lens being published. You can click on any points in the graph to get the exact numbers.
• LensRank - Graph Statistics to show you what is your lens rank at each day since the Lens being published. You can click on any points in the graph to get the exact numbers.

Click on the “Traffic” tab and you will get to see interesting information and this is what we need to understand!!

You will see 5 sections appears on this page :-

• Lens Traffic : This is where you can set to view your traffic page from Today to 30 days.
• Visits : Number of Visitors to your lens (figure will change depends on your selection on “Lens Traffic” section) and Visitors till date since your lens being published.
• Traffic Source : This is VERY IMPORTANT information, which it tell you where your “customer” come from and which keywords (Lens tags) is used!!
  • Referral traffic comes from blogs, websites, forums and other lenses.
  • Direct traffic comes from browser bookmarks or typing in your URL.
  • Search traffic comes from people searching for a specific topic in engines like Google, Yahoo, AOL, etc.
• Referrers : If you have Referral traffic (based on the “Traffic Source” section), Squidoo will break down the details under here!
• Click Out : If you have hyperlink setup on your lens to divert your visitor to other webpage, if you show you each individual clickout numbers.

Last on the Stat page is the “Royalties” page. you will be able to view your Squidoo income here if you have “Money Making” modules setup in your lens.
